Bacon, Potatoes and Cabbage – Traditional Irish One-Pot Cooking Recipe.

Bacon, Potatoes and Cabbage – Traditional Irish One-Pot Cooking Recipe.

I hope you like this recipe. We think it’s delicious! It might help that we produce all the (main) ingredients ourselves, of course…

People in Ireland have eaten this for centuries – although when times were tough, probably without the bacon (milk was often used instead).

Is it necessary to say that all the ingredients are boiled until cooked? Bacon takes about 20 minutes/pound, potatoes take about 20 minutes and cabbage about 8 minutes.

Enjoy!

and finally our FaceBook page (Not quite sure what to do with this but we put photos and extra comments when we get around to it..)

Thank you!
