1 lb (454 g) pinto beans (cleaned and rinsed)
6 cups (1.42 L) water
2 Tbsp (18 g) Tomato flavored chicken bouillon powder (I use Knorr brand)
8 oz (227 g) thick cut bacon (chopped)
4 oz (113 g) Mexican style chorizo
1 small onion (170 g) (chopped)
2 Roma tomatoes (165 g) (chopped)
1 large jalapeño (50 g) (chopped)
3 to 5 cloves fresh garlic (22 g) (chopped)
handful chopped fresh cilantro (15 g) (optional)
