About a week ago, one of my viewers asked whether I knew of a good recipe for a whole loaf of bread and I had to respond that I didn’t. The keto loaves I’ve tried have all been eggy or essentially fathead (using lots of cheese for structure). I went out ISO a new recipe and I found it here on YouTube on a channel called “Low carb/keto recipes and having fun Vernaz,” ( where you’ll find LOTS of GREAT keto recipes. After watching the host make this bread, I said to myself, “You’ve GOT to TRY THIS!” It came out just perfect, even the first time. No dairy or eggs here, so EVERYONE can eat this! I really hope you’ll try this recipe and that you’ll LIKE, SHARE (especially on Facebook), COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE! Enjoy!
If you like this recipe, check out The Hungry Elephant channel here on YouTube at for more REALLY good breads, like this one, her Keto White Bread:
Here are the macros: for the almond flour bread, if you cut it into 16 slices, each one has 160 calories, 2,3 g fat,14.3 g protein, 1.4 g net carbs; for the coconut flour bread: 74 calories, 2.6 g fat, 11 g protein, less than 1 g net carbs.
N.B. I AM AWARE that whey protein isolate is a by-product of cheesemaking and that it is derived from milk. When I state there are no dairy products, I mean eggs, cheese, cream, which are often major keto bread ingredients, as in fathead doughs. Whey protein is not generally classified as a “dairy product.”
